Bangor High School standout Rae Barron’s collegiate team loses game in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship on Friday, May 16

On Friday, May 16, former Bangor High School standout Rae Barron’s current collegiate team the Swarthmore Garnet lost 1-5 against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the tournament.

The Swarthmore Garnet’s next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 4 p.m. at Tom and Betty Broyles Field at TowneBank Park.
