On March 12th, Bishop Denis J. O’Connell High School Forward Adrianna Smith’s collegiate team the Maine Black Bears were invited to the NCAA tournament as a 15 seed.

The Maine Black Bears ended the regular season with a 24-9 record. They are paired against the Ohio State Buckeyes who are a 2 seed. The game will take place on Friday, March 22 in Columbus, Ohio.
