Former Old Town High School standout and current Husson Eagles player, Tanner Evans will compete in the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.
They begin the tournament against Kean Cougars.
The first game is on Friday, May 16 at 11 a.m.
The University of Maine softball team will play a doubleheader against Merrimack on March 11 in North Andover. Both teams look to improve their records as they continue non-conference play.
The University of Maine women’s basketball team defeated Binghamton to reach the America East Championship game. Adrianna Smith led with a double-double as Maine prepares to face Vermont for the title.
Rex Hauser, a freshman on the University of Maine baseball team, has been named America East Rookie of the Week.
