The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly awards on Monday and Husson University men’s basketball junior Jeremy Moronta was named player of the week. 
 
Moronta put together an impressive week for the Eagles averaging 22.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and two steals per game. Moronta tallied back-to-back double-doubles including a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double against Thomas College on Jan. 27 to go along with eight assists, just missing a triple-double. Followed by a 28-point, 12-rebound double-double against Thomas on Jan. 28, tying a career-high with 28 points while adding three assists, one block and three steals. Additionally, Moronta just missed his third double-double of the week in a win over Maine Maritime Academy on Jan. 24 finishing with 18 points and nine boards, tallying a pair of assists, one block and one still to help Husson finish 3-0 on the week.
