The University of Maine men’s basketball team will conclude its regular season on Tuesday, March 4, 2026, facing UMass Lowell at Skip Chappelle Court in Orono. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will feature a Senior Day promotion.

Mekhi Gray recently reached a significant milestone by scoring his 1,000th career point during a game against UMBC on February 12. This total includes his current season’s contribution of 249 points for Maine as well as previous seasons at NJIT and appearances for UMass Lowell.
Logan Carey and TJ Biel have played key roles during conference games this season. Biel leads the pair with an average of 13.6 points per game in conference play; Carey follows with an average of 11.6 points per game along with notable contributions in assists (47) and steals (27). Biel has added defensive strength with sixteen blocks and fifty-five rebounds.
Tuesday’s contest marks the twenty-fifth meeting between Maine and UMass Lowell all-time; UMass Lowell leads the series history at sixteen wins to eight for Maine, including a previous victory this January where they won by fourteen points (91-77). In that earlier matchup, Logan Carey scored a career-high twenty-eight points for Maine.
