These former Maine Highlands area high school standouts will be active on Thursday, April 23.

The University of Maine baseball team secured its first win over a nationally ranked opponent since 2018 by defeating number 22 Boston College on April 21. Key performances included strong hitting from Troy Carpenter and Juju Stevens as well as solid relief pitching.

The University of Maine Track and Field team will participate in their first Penn Relays since 2022 starting April 23. Several standout athletes are set to compete following recent strong performances.

Hunter St. Denis was named America East Rookie of the Week after impressive performances against Northeastern and Merrimack. The freshman drove in seven runs over three games for Maine, earning his second weekly honor this season.
