LGBTQ+ Pride Month is celebrated each June to honor and remember the brave members of the LGBTQ+ community that stood up against hate and fought for their rights during the Stonewall Uprising in 1969. Eastern Maine Community College acknowledges and celebrates Bangor Pride festivities. EMCC aspires to celebrate, empower, and lift-up the LGBTQ+ members of our campus community, not just in the month of June, but always.
