On Wednesday, July 27th at 4:40pm, the Sheriff's Office responded to a car verses pedestrian crash on Route 221 in Hudson. The victim, now identified as David York (65) was life flight-ed to Northern Light Hospital. The operator of the vehicle Judith Whitmore (50) of Hudson was not injured.
Today, the Sheriff's Office received official notification that Mr. York passed away as the result of injures sustained during the crash. The investigation remains active, alcohol and speed do not appear to be contributing factors.
