On October 1, 2022, at approximately 9:30 am, Deputy Dayerrick Ireland was working patrol on Mill Street in LaGrange when he encountered a vehicle committing multiple traffic violations. Upon stopping the vehicle, the operator was identified as 26-year-old Codie Donlon of Milo, Maine. Through further investigation, a search was conducted on Donlon’s vehicle which yielded 29.2 gross grams of suspected Methamphetamine, 24.7 gross grams of suspected Crack-Cocaine, and 0.6 gross grams of suspected Fentanyl.
Donlon was placed under arrest and transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
Donlon was charged with the following offenses:
1. Title 17-A, Section 1103.1-A.1, Unlawful Trafficking Schedule W, Class B x 2
2. Title 17-A, Section 1107A.1.C, Unlawful Possession of Schedule W, Class D
3. Title 15, Section 1092, Violating Conditions of Release, Class C
4. Title 29-A, Section 2412-A, Operating After Suspension, Class E
5. Title 29-A, Section 2104, False Attachment of Plates, Class E
Our office strongly supports substance use disorder awareness and treatment, we see firsthand the devastating impact these dangerous drugs have on individuals, their families and our communities.
In order to be effective we must stop the flow of dangerous drugs impacting our communities. Those trafficking dangerous drugs to individuals suffering from addiction will be held accountable.
