MOTORCYCLE CRASH:
On the above date and time, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Naples Fire and Rescue responded to the Harrison Road in Naples for a motorcycle crash. It was reported the male operator
had serious head injuries. Upon investigating, it was determined that Michael Levesque (53), of Yarmouth was operating a 2011 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was traveling south on the Harrison Road and went off the roadway to the right into the soft shoulder and lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle went onto its side and Levesque was thrown from it. Levesque was not wearing a helmet and struck his head on the pavement, sustaining life-threatening injuries. Levesque was transported to Maine Medical Center by Naples Rescue. Levesque was traveling with several other riders who witnessed the crash and were not involved.
The crash remains under investigation; it does not appear that impairment or speed were factors in the crash.
