On the above date and time, Deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office along with Naples Fire/EMS and Troopers from the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit responded for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a dump truck and a pick-up truck in the area of 578 Sebago Rd in Naples.

The crash involved a 2018 Chevrolet truck operated by Preston Kennie (56 years old) of Sebago and a 1998 Ford dump truck operated by James Saccuzzo (44 years old) of Lyman. The initial investigation shows Kennie’s vehicle crossed the center line into the on-coming travel lane.

His truck struck Saccuzo’s truck head on. Kennie was transported to Maine Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. Saccuzzo sustained no injuries and was cleared by medical personnel on scene. Both trucks were towed due to extensive damage.
