Penobscot County Sheriff's Office starts Secret Santa basic needs initiative

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office has begun our secret Santa basic needs initiative. We started at the top of our beautiful county meeting with community members in the Mt. Chase and Patten Region. We were able to help many individuals and families with their grocery bill.

We then traveled south to the Millinocket region where with connected with the E. Millinocket Police Department. Again we were able to positively impact many individuals and families in the region. With food being one of the most basic needs and the raising cost this initiative could not have come at a better time.

This initiative not only impacts those receiving, it impacts the businesses we visited, surrounding customers and certainly our officers. We look forward to working our way across the county. It was an amazing first day!!

Our sponsors are absolutely incredible and this would not be possible without them. If you would like to help, please let us know. Small or large all donations help.
