Incident Location: Route 35 (Bonny Eagle Road)

Release Date: December 3, 2022

On the above date and time, Deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office along with Standish Fire/EMS responded for a report of motor vehicle crash in the area of 241 Bonny Eagle Road in the Town of Standish.

The crash involved three vehicles: a 2008 Scion TC, operated by 25-year-old Dylan Paul of Arundel, a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado,  operated by Robert Myslik of Standish, and a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by Mitchell Mclean of Kennebunkport with a juvenile passenger. Dylan Paul was passing the 2015 Silverado and lost control crossing the center line and crashing head-on into the 2017 Silverado that was going in the opposite direction. The 2015 Silverado then crashed into the rear of the Scion and continued into a tree. All three vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene. Robert Myslik was treated and released at the scene. Mitchell Mclean and the juvenile passenger were evaluated and transported to Maine Medical Center with non-life threating injuries. Dylan Paul was evaluated and transported to Southern Maine Health Care with non-life threating injuries.

Bonny Eagle Road between Ossipee Trail West and Chicopee Road was shut down for an extended period of time while the crash was investigated by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office. The cause of the crash is under investigation, speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
