Former Old Town High School player and current Husson Eagles infielder, Tanner Evans, will compete in the NCAA D3 Baseball Championship Tournament.
They begin the tournament as a number four seed against the first seeded Endicott Gulls.
The first game is on Friday, May 17.
The University of Maine softball team will play a doubleheader against Merrimack on March 11 in North Andover. Both teams look to improve their records as they continue non-conference play.
The University of Maine women’s basketball team defeated Binghamton to reach the America East Championship game. Adrianna Smith led with a double-double as Maine prepares to face Vermont for the title.
Rex Hauser, a freshman on the University of Maine baseball team, has been named America East Rookie of the Week.
