Beal College enrolls 207 undergrads

At Beal College, 66 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 63 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Bangor enrolled 207 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 13 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of Maine, and 2 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and American Indian or Alaska Native (1 percent).
