On Wednesday October 5th at approximately 12:00pm, the Sheriff’s Office responded to a tragic incident on Route 2 in Hermon. Our office received several inquiries about the incident as it was reported that a firearm was involved. At no time was the public in danger. Out of respect and privacy to the family involved, no other information will be provided.
