The North Atlantic Conference announced its weekly women's soccer awards on Monday and Husson University freshman Madison Weigler was named defensive player of the week while fellow freshman Addi Laslie earned her second rookie of the week honor.
Weigler finished the week 1-0 in net for the Eagles recording one save against Maine Maritime Academy while helping Husson lock down the NAC East Division top seed.
Laslie recorded two assists in Husson's 6-0 victory over the Mariners while increasing her season total to four assists.
