Penobscot County Sheriff's Office Ongoing dangerous drug investigation leads to two Clifton, ME arrests

On October 24, 2022, at approximately 7 am, Deputies with the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office and the Penobscot County Special Response Team conducted a search warrant on the Scott's Point Road in Clifton, Maine.  This search warrant was the result of a multi-month investigation into drug trafficking at the residence.  During the search of the property, Deputies located approximately 315 gross grams of Methamphetamine, 4.8 gross grams of Fentanyl Compound, and an undisclosed amount of drug proceeds.  

Upon the conclusion of the search warrant, 36-year-old Jessica Lovely was arrested and charged with Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs (Felony Class A) and Violation of Condition of Release and 54-year-old Michael Drake was arrested and charged with Aggravated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs (Felony Class A) and Unlawful Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs (Felony Class B).  

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Holden Police Department, Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Homeland Security, US Custom and Border Protection, and the Brewer Rescue Squad.  This remains and ongoing investigation.
