Penobscot County Sheriff's Office investigates fatal crash in Corinth

On Sunday evening November 13, 2022 at approximately 7:23pm the Penobscot County Regional Communications Center received a report of a single vehicle motor vehicle crash on the Hudson Rd. (Rt. 43) in Corinth. 

Responders from the Corinth Fire Department, Hudson Fire Department, Mayo Ambulance and the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office discovered that a 2005 GMC Sierra pick-up truck was traveling westbound and had left the roadway and flipped over before coming to rest in the woods. The lone occupant of the pick-up truck, Cody Crooker, 31 years old of Corinth, was found to be deceased as the result of the crash.

Crash Reconstructionist, Forensic Mappers and investigators from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. Investigators from the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the crash to determine why the pick-up truck left the roadway.
